Developer & Founder

I build software products from idea to code.

I am a full-stack developer and entrepreneur. Right now, I am building Rhythme—a daily planning and habits tool designed to work without streaks or noisy notifications.

Current focus

Building Rhythme

I am building Rhythme because I wanted a daily planner that does not treat my time like a game. I am focusing on making the daily check-in feel fast and simple.

  • Speeding up Rhythme's interface by checking habits instantly on the client and syncing with Supabase in the background.
  • Simplifying the Postgres database schema to keep user diaries and habit records clean.
  • Stripping away unnecessary custom options so Rhythme focuses only on the core planner.

Approach

Writing code is only part of the work.

I prefer solving problems on paper before writing a line of code. Good software comes from understanding user flows and database tables first, not from typing fast.

Paper before code

I sketch user flows on paper before writing any code. If a flow feels confusing on paper, writing code won't make it any clearer.

Readability over cleverness

I prefer simple, readable code over clever abstractions. I want to look at my code a year from now and understand exactly what it does.

Full-stack ownership

I build the front-end interface, design the PostgreSQL tables in Supabase, and handle client state. I enjoy owning the product from database to UI.

Projects

Real projects, not tutorials.

I focus on projects where I designed the database and wrote the code myself. Each project represents a concrete challenge I wanted to solve.

I got tired of productivity apps that treat planning like a game with streaks and badges. I wanted a quiet page to organize my day and write down what I got done.

Instead of plugging in Spotify or Last.fm recommendation APIs, we wanted to build a music recommendation engine ourselves. We designed our own matching logic using survey responses and weighted preferences.
